10 months old

He is pulling up a lot.  I found him in his crib a few mornings like this. 

He just learned to drink out of a straw too :) 

Ava's Graduation and Navarre Beach

Ava graduated from her 4 year old Pre-K program.   This was part of her show. 

She had to tell her month, which was February.  I didn't get a picture of that part.

Then after Ava's graduation we headed out to Montgomery to stay the night.  Thankfully both kids slept as soon as we left the house so it was a nice quiet ride.  That was the plan :)  We stayed overnight in Montgomery, then headed to Navarre Florida on Friday morning. We arrived earlier than check in time so we got groceries and ate at the Original Crab House.  It was yum.   Me and Ava hit the beach as soon as we got settled in.   Liam I think napped.  The beach wore that kid out.    We stayed outside till later, then came in to eat and chill.

 

Saturday we stayed out on the beach or at the pool the whole day.  Of course taking breaks often.  A beach trip with kids is work.  By the time I get everyone packed up and sunscreened up, I need a break.  But its worth it!!!  The water was so clear and nice.  Ava loved the beach and more so this year.  She actually enjoyed the ocean, where as in years past she was scared.  Liam didn't like the ocean or pool.  He would pull his legs up when you would try to put him down in it.  He loved the sand though.  He threw it, ate it, and just stared at it mainly.  Hence, why he has his paci in :)  Me and Ava really enjoyed looking for shells.  There were tons of them.  We even saw a whole starfish. 

Saturday night we drove into Fort Walton and ate at the Crab Trap.   I had promised Ava we would hit up the Track and let her ride some things.  She doesn't forget either!!  We wore Liam out.

Sunday we stayed at the Beach and pool again.  The water was even more clear and warmer that day.  Sunday night we drove into Destin to eat at Pompano Joes.  On our way home we stopped for ice cream.

We had a great, quick trip.  I wish we had a few more days but its better than nothing!!   Liam did great for his first beach trip.  He slept through most of it, but he still did great. :)

April

April was a busy month...

We went to the Circus.  I think it was all of our first time.

Ava had a pet show at school....
And since we don't own a pet my Aunt Wanda (Ava calls her Aunt Wan Wan) let us borrow her dog Cee Cee.

We visited the Library one Sat.

Easter came upon us and Ava had a hunt at school and then at church as well

Ava had Kindergarten registration!!!  I can't believe its time for this.  She did great though and it made us all excited for August.

 

Liam turned 9 months!!  He is 18 lbs and 28 1/2 inches long.  My little man is growing up so fast.

He loves flipping his paci this way.  It looks so funny!!!
He can wave, say Mama and other jibber jabber.  He loves bananas and fruits.  He hates anything green.  He is pulling himself around as his form of crawling.  Don't kid yourself though, the kid is like lightening.   He is sleeping good at night.  He has 7 teeth :)
