My Little Flower Girl

My gorgeous little girl was in her first wedding.  She was the flower girl.  I must say she was so pretty!!!!  She did awesome.  She is pretty shy in front of a crowd, but she did an awesome job.

Ava is 6

We celebrated Ava's 6th Birthday in March.  She went to build a bear, and picked her favorite place to eat....Logans :)    Of course her bear was Elsa.  She also requested a cookie cake.  We love this sweet, energetic, crazy kid.  It is so hard to believe my first born is 6.

 

Rewind.....

We got the biggest snow I have seen in a while back in February.  I think we got around 8 inches....give or take some.  The kids were out of school and I was out a day of work :)  So we played!!!!!!

 

 

 

Goodbye Paci

This deserves a post.  Liam hasn't had his paci since January 9th.  Yes I remember the date. :)  This boy loved his paci.  I mean loved it!!!!!!!!!   Ava never took one so I wasn't aware of how to handle it.  I just decided one day to take it away and see.  I had read to follow the farmers almanac signs, but I went ahead.    He only asked for it a couple times, and I just changed the subject.   He did great.  I actually was almost holding my breath cause it seemed way too easy.  Then a day turned into a few days, then a week, and now over a month.  I am proud of my big boy!!!

Happy New Year

We did another quick trip to the Smokies for our last Christmas get together with Adam's parents and family.  It was a fun trip but very short.   Ava was so excited to play with her cousins.

Adam talked me into the giant enclosed ferris wheel.  I was very nervous, but trying not to show Ava :(

Christmas 2014

We had a wonderful Christmas.  First of all the parade started the season off.   Then we had a the Christmas play at church.  I helped this year do the play....Man it is a lot of work.   The theme was a "Super Hero Christmas".  It was good.  Ava played the part of Super Girl, and had a couple of lines.  Liam was an animal.  And boy did he steal the show. He got up there and danced and clapped and walked around the stage having fun.  At one point another animal grabbed his tail, and he just went with it :)   Ava ended up getting very sick for the play.  She felt awful that night. 

 

We did a quick trip to the Smokies for a few nights.  It was fun and we really did enjoy it.

 

Ava was very excited about Christmas this year.  She really did enjoy all the festivities of the season.  Of course Liam didn't have a clue but he enjoyed playing. 

Happy Halloween

I wish I could load a picture of the kids, but for some dumb reason the app I use isn't cooperating.  They were SO cute.  Ava was Alice in Wonderland, and Liam was the white rabbit.   It was spot on if I say so myself.    Liam wore a sports coat, vest, ears, and a clock around his neck.  Ava wore a Alice Costume.

It was rainy and a mess on Halloween.  We didn't even get to trick or treat much :(   Ava had plenty of candy though from other parties.
