April

April was a busy month...

We went to the Circus.  I think it was all of our first time.

Ava had a pet show at school....
And since we don't own a pet my Aunt Wanda (Ava calls her Aunt Wan Wan) let us borrow her dog Cee Cee.

We visited the Library one Sat.

Easter came upon us and Ava had a hunt at school and then at church as well

Ava had Kindergarten registration!!!  I can't believe its time for this.  She did great though and it made us all excited for August.

 

Liam turned 9 months!!  He is 18 lbs and 28 1/2 inches long.  My little man is growing up so fast.

He loves flipping his paci this way.  It looks so funny!!!
He can wave, say Mama and other jibber jabber.  He loves bananas and fruits.  He hates anything green.  He is pulling himself around as his form of crawling.  Don't kid yourself though, the kid is like lightening.   He is sleeping good at night.  He has 7 teeth :)

Her Bday gift

On her birthday she opened up her Minnie Mouse custom watch she had been wanting.

Then we got ready and told her we were going to another surprise.....

Anyways, some info about this kid.

She is 38 1/2 lbs and 43 inches tall

Her favorite color is pink

favorite game is Candy Land

 

She never ceases to amaze me.  The things she remembers and catches on to..at times it scares me :)  She keeps me on my toes all the time.  She makes me laugh SO hard too!  I love my little feisty fun loving girl.

Ava turns 5!!!!!

 

For Ava's 5th Birthday we went to Spoiled Rockin Kidz.  Its an adorable kid's salon type place.  Yeah, I think I might have liked it just as much as the kids!!!  She got to invite 5 friends!  They got pampered and had tons of fun.  They dress up in cute Princess outfits and get their hair/makeup done.  Then they did a runway show to "Let it Go"  (from Frozen).  There was gifts,cupcakes, and fun!!

Afterwards we went to eat at Olive Garden (one of Ava's favorite places).  Basically because they give you chocolates.

I will leave out the group pictures just because I don't like posting pics of other kids without their parents knowing.

Ok, It Really Snowed

Now I know if any northerners are reading this they are going to laugh.
We got about 1-3 inches maybe on a Monday night into Tuesday morning.  I woke up about 5 something with Liam and it was SOOO gorgeous.  It was that untouched soft fluffy snow.  I could have looked at it for hours.  SO pretty.   This is what I am talking about......

I worked from home this day.  Adam had a horrible time getting home from work.  Thank God he finally made it.  When he got home him and Ava went out to play.  Me and her had went out early morning when Liam took his morning nap.

By the afternoon it all melted :(

 

BUT then Wednesday night it started again....

We woke up Thursday morning to this...

 

 

This time we got about 4-6.  Some areas got more.

We were the crazy family that got out and played in it at 6:30.  I had to go to work or else we might not all have got out that early.  I knew it would melt by the time I got home too.

 

It was Liam's first time out in it.  He was like whatever.....

 

We made snow cream (yes for breakfast), had snow ball fights, and snow angels.
