This pumpkin is big as me.

We had such a fun filled Fall weekend. Friday we started it at Tate Farms with some Friends of ours. We had the BEST time. I really didn't want to leave! There was so much for the kids to do and actually the adults too! We got to pet the animals, play in the corn bins, ride the corn train, ride the hay ride, pick our pumpkin, and just play on the equipment. We are so making that a tradition every year! I love seeing a big smile on Ava's face!

Saturday morning we had a Halloween Birthday party to go to. I posted a pic of Ava in her ladybug outfit. I will be taking tons more pics when she goes Trick or Treating. We got to rest a few hours then I had to go work a benefit singing that night. It went good and was for a great cause. I was glad to help!! It was at the High School that I attended which is now the middle school. I have to say that when I stepped in that lunchroom I was flooded by memories. It had the same smell, feel, and overall atmosphere that it did 10 plus years ago. I walked those Halls and passed my old locker and felt such a jolt back in time. That was a place I had disappointment and heartbreaks, but at the same time joy, development, and fun. I can remember passing notes and talking about our boyfriends over lunch (which was pizza and anything dipped in ranch). LOL! It was really neat to be back in there after so many years!

I will apologize now for all the pictures!

Things that make you go huh?

Last week Ava started getting bumps on her leg. I think I noticed them Tuesday. I kept an eye on them and by Friday they had multiplied to her arms and feet. So I called her Dr. Friday around lunch time and he wanted to see her. He said they WERE NOT anything serious or contagious but he really wasn't sure what it was. He ruled out Chicken Pox, Measles, Fifths Disease, etc. She isn't sick and she isn't really scratching them. In fact I think they bother me more than her. I just want them to go away!!!!!!!!!!!
Saturday me and Mom went shopping. I got a few things checked off my list, including Ava's Halloween costume. She is going to be a lady bug, and I must say the cutest EVER!! LOL
We have a busy week ahead!! I have 2 showers, church, play practice, pumpkin patch, a Halloween birthday party and a benefit singing. In the mean time I need to go the store because I have to fix food for most of those events.

OH and I wish the weather would make its mind up. I am having a hard time dressing Ava. I had put up most of her summer clothes but its been in the upper 80s!

Please say a prayer for my freind. She had her baby girl last week, and she only weighed 2 lbs and 2 ozs. Unfortunatly for them God took her to be with him!

Sorry for such a random post!!!!

A couple more pics

Eating a sucker...I felt bad she couldn't ride the go carts!!!

Gatlinburg 2010

We left Thursday morning for our annual Gatlinburg trip with Adam's family. It was a rough start because Adam worked Wednesday night and didn't sleep before we left. We didn't leave when we planned, but it all worked out. We got there around 2:30 and ate lunch at Calhouns (which wasn't the best). We met up with everyone that afternoon and the fun began :)

Friday we rode go carts, played putt putt and shopped. I need to note that I beat Adam in putt putt. He is so competitive and I am so NOT into sports. It was a beautiful day. Saturday we rode over to Cherokee, climbed 150 something steps, and hiked up to a waterfall. It was very pretty but exhausting for somebody that hasn't worked out in forever :) We got our fix of the Peddler that night. Sunday we packed up, ate breakfast at the Pancake Pantry(my fav), and shopped on our way out.

Ava had a good time! Last year she was only 8 months so it was just bottles and crawling around mostly. This year she was climbing up and down the stairs and falling :( Which gave me some gray hairs I am convinced!!

The weather wasn't what we are used to on that trip. We usually go in November and its freezing and snowing sometimes. This year we had to go early because Adam is working an outage in November. It was sunny and in the 60s and 70s until Sunday, then it turned cold and rainy.
The downside was Adam was starting to feel bad before we left. He felt bad the whole trip and Saturday night thought he was getting an ear infection. Ava had a runny nose and cough the whole time. Oh well we take the good with the bad right?

Adam is 30!!!

I am sure he loves that I am telling everyone that :) Honestly I don't think it bothers him as much as it bothers me. I know that in a short while I will be following suit. :(

I just remember when I was a teenager thinking 30 was so old. SERIOUSLY? I still feel like I am 18 most days. So Friday night I gave Adam a birthday party. It was no surprise. We had it at the house and had pizza and cake/ice cream. I think I had 20 adults in my house. Good thing it was nice and the kids were able to play outside. Andy, Rachel and Gabe came in for it and they stayed the night.

Saturday I had a baby shower to attend. After I got home from that we all went out to eat for lunch. We also went to the park and fed the ducks. Ava loves to do that....although this time she just sat down and ate the bread instead of sharing with the ducks. The guys wanted to go back to the house and watch football. I think I am the only person on the planet that could care LESS about football! Seriously it makes me want to sleep! So we hung out and then went to the Docks for dinner. YUMMY! It was nice and we sat outside.

Sunday I had a family reunion on my moms side. Adam had to work. Me and Ava went to church that night.

I had to do something I haven't done in probably 18 months....WORK on a Monday! And just to add to it, it was rainy and dark :( I switched my days this week cause we are going to Gatlinburg Thursday. I better get back in the swing of it because I will be coming back to work full time. Yesterday after work we went to Huntsville and ate dinner at Chilis. They donated all their profits to St. Judes Childrens Hosptial. I had some errands to run while I was there too.
Today Ava has developed a cold, therefore we had a rough night :( I sure hope she gets better before this trip. I want her to enjoy it and have a good time.

Destin 2010

Adam is going to kill me for putting this picture on here. He hates it. sssshhhhh.
Navarre...it still had oil problems.

Our Condo! Loved it.

Last week was CRAZY to say the least. I was packing for our trip, working more hours because mom was in Canada on a trip, and then trying to fit a million chores into one day. It was worth it though! We started our weekend by taking Ava to the fair Friday night. She LOVED it. I think she liked the lights and kids more than the rides! Ok, so Saturday we went to ATL and met up with Adams family. We ate at my FAVORITE Mexican place...Pappasitos!!!! Then we went to Phipps plaza and shopped some. OH girls that place is Designer Heaven!!! We stayed that night and then left out Sunday for Destin. Me and Adam took a late 5 Year Anniversary trip. Adam's parents kept Ava! We try to do this every year because they don't get to spend that much quality time with Ava since we live 3 hours away. She done so good!!! She didn't cry for us or anything!! I on the other hand had a harder time with it this year. It was hard being away from her, but it was nice having some relaxing time too! I think every kid we saw at the beach reminded us of Ava. :)

So to sum it up we ate a lot of good seafood, shopped at good outlets, laid around, and soaked up the sun and waves. It was awesome! We came home Thursday....and Ava has been connected to my hip ever since. I can't say I am not enjoying that though!

Adam's great Uncle died so we went to the visitation last night, and Adam went to the funeral today. I wanted to go, but the thought of Ava in a quiet place makes me break out in hives.

Labor Day Weekend Recap

We had a full weekend. Friday I cleaned most of the day and Adam worked outside in the yard. Ava had a birthday party to attend that night so we went to that for a little bit then hurried back home. Nana and Paw paw Estes were on their way to our house. They stayed the night with us. Saturday we all woke up to a glorious cooler morning. I love those type of mornings!!! We all went to breakfast and then to yard sales. Needless to say Ava ended up with more toys to adorn my living room floor. We hung out all day then Andy, Rachel and Gabriel (Adams brothers family) came to visit too. The kids had fun playing out in the awesome weather. Nana pulled them around the block in Ava's wagon. We enjoyed a nice Family dinner that night. Sunday we took them to First Sunday on the Square and Art in the Park. Wow, it had been so long since I had been to that. It was fun. The weather was so nice! Ava got her face painted and actually sat still so the girl could finish it. Then all our company left and we went to church.

Yesterday Adam had to work so I hung out with Mom and Dad. We made a quick trip down to my grandparents house. They love seeing Ava!!! So oddly enough we didn't have a cook out. That seems weird because I always associate Memorial Day and Labor Day with grills. :) It was nice though.....no cooking or cleaning! LOL

So now the weekend is over and we have such a busy week ahead. Today I have many errands to run and things to do around the house. Wednesday I have a doctors appt. I am working Thursday and Friday of this week. We are taking Ava to the fair one night. Also I have to start packing because we are taking a trip Saturday. :) YEAH!!!!!!!
