Skating in the Park!!!  I love to Ice Skate so it was so important that I take Ava.  I want her to enjoy it like I do.  She did pretty good for her first time.  Its hard to explain to a 3 Year old how to move your feet.  So we just rented this nifty thing.  Thanks to me she got to skate FAST around all night.  I was feeling it the next day.....wheewww...

Christmas Parade.  It was the warmest parade I can ever remeber.  We actually could feel our hands and feet after it was over.  Ava loves it.  She also learned if you say "Merry Christmas" and wave you get more candy :)

Ok, funny story.  Mom dropped the Sweet Potato Pie and I had to get a picture.  You don't just waste this pie.  I was like I am eating it off the floor if I have to.  Thankfully the way she dropped it none of it actually touched the floor I don't think. 

I know I am SO behind.  I had to post some things to catch up though.  Our Thanksgiving was wonderful.  We have so much to be thankful for.  We ate good food and enjoyed good company!!!  I always wish I would have took more pictures.  I wanted to get a picture of everyone sitting at the dinner table.  OH well.

Nice Fall Days

We have been enjoying the last few Saturdays.  The weather has been perfect to get outside and play. So thats what we have done!!!  Before long it will be SO cold we won't be able to.

Thanksgiving Soup day

Last Thursday was Soup day at Ava's school.  I am behind on my posting.  I took my lunch break to go over there and eat with Ava.  I am SO glad I did.  We ate yummy soup and got to see the kids dressed up in  their oh so cute shirts and things they made.  It was adorable.

Ava was hilarious this year.  When I was getting her ready she said "I am gonna have to tell all the kids, don't worry its just me, Ava!"   

Then at one door a Lady said "Why who are you?"   Ava quickly answered "I am Ava"

Costume time

We made witch hat and ghost cookies for a Halloween party last Friday night.    We dressed up in costume too.  Ava was Cinderella and I was Ariel, the Little Mermaid.  Ava was going to be Dora.  I vetoed that after a trial run Thursday night with the brown hair spray paint.  :(  It was so nasty and messy.  I tested a small section of her hair. Not only did it make a nasty bathtub to clean up afterwards, it was hard to come out of her light colored hair.  So the thought of spraying her whole head flipped me out.  I talked her into being Cinderella.  We had SO much fun.  I love dressing up, and its even more fun when everyone participates.  Ava loved me dressing up as Ariel.  I even adorned my hair with a dinglehopper....aka fork.. for those of you who live under a rock and have never watched the movie :)   The church had 3 big blow up bouncy things to play on, along with tons of food, candy, and fun!!!! 

Adam is working his outage so that means LOTS of time at work :(   He wasn't able to go Friday night.  OH well so thankful he has a good job.  I never want to take it for granted.

 Saturday night we attended a Bonfire and it was COLD.  We had a blast though.  I layered Ava up and we enjoyed the chilly night.
