My new Hall Tree!!!!! I have been looking for weeks for the perfect storage solution for this little area in our new house. I didn't want my kitchen counters to be the catch all for my purse, diaper bags, and coats. So I went on a online search for something. This little area is right outside my dining room and across from my kitchen. The garage door we come into the house through is to the right of that Mt Dew box :) Its perfect.....not too big. I think the bottom area will even hold Adams work boots or shoes. I get a little high off finding the perfect piece of furniture and organizing. :)

Ok, my second favorite thing this week. Peanut Butter Chocolate Cheese ball. I found this recipe on my best buddy, Jenny's, Pinterest board. I am always looking for something new and easy. I have a shower to go to tonight and I signed dessert. It turned out great and I hope it goes over good.

The recipe...in case anyone wants to try it.

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup confectioners sugar

3 tablespoons brown sugar

3/4 cup creamy peanut butter

Beat all that up in a mixer. Then put it in saran wrap and freeze into a ball for about an hour. Take out and roll it in a mixture of peanut butter morsels and chocolate morsels.

Serve with graham sticks, apples, etc.

This is Ava in my buggy at Walmart last Saturday. She was so tired. I looked down and she had dropped her cookie and was laying on my papertowels asleep :)
The only problem is she didn't do this 30 minutes earlier....LOL. It was time to check out practically so I was trying to take everything out of the buggy around her. Finally I had to pick her up and finish checking out. By the way I forgot how hard it is to hold a kid and push a buggy at the same time.

Our niece Makenzie turned 13!!!!!!! Wow, I can remember when me and Adam were dating and I stayed at her house. She was so little. Time really does fly. We went to Atlanta last weekend to celebrate her birthday. We got her a cute bracelet that has her Initial then two of her birthstones in beads. I hope she liked it.

I tried to dowload a video of Ava dancing but stupid blogger doesn't want to cooperate, and its surely not the operator. :)

Happy Late Valentines

I am not a big Valentines person. A card and maybe some candy is fine. I really could forgo the card and just get candy :) My sweet husband ordered us my favorite local dinner, The Docks. It was so yummy and in the privacy of our own home. We didn't have to hassle the big crowds. Then after supper I figured he was up to something. He came out of our bathroom and told me to go back there and stay as long as I wanted. I am like OK???? He had my jazucci tub covered in rose petals and all my pretty candles burning. It was so sweet. He knew I had never got in our jazucci and we have lived in this house since November. Hey I wanted to but never got a good opportunity. So I didn't ask questions. I shut the door and spent the next 30-45 minutes doing what most Moms would love.....Time to relax with no kids. I got a new thereapy wrap too so I heated that thing up and wrapped it on my neck. It was wonderful. Just a funny lesson learned though.....always fill the water well over the jets. I mean well over. I had a moment where water went flying all over my walls, floor and tub :) Never a dull moment.

Playing dress up

This kid loves to dress up. It doesn't matter if its a real costume or a mismatched pair of my shoes with a tutu and a necklace. She came through the living room the other night with gold shoes on, a pink tutu around her chest and no shirt :) She was styling!! I love her large imagination. It takes me back to my childhood when I could make a wedding dress out of mom's slip :) I am utterly enjoying this age. Her mind is so full of ideas and new things. I love it!!!!

Camera is alive!!!

After a trip to Verizon and two trips to the Apple Store my phone camera is back and ready to start snapping some pics. The people at Apple are so helpful and nice! So here is a pic I took. I am sure you would rather see these cuties than the random test pictures of a wall, a stranger at the gas station, or my lovely self. My trip to the Apple store was a story in itself. I had to take Ava with me. :( NOT a store I want her to be in. Too many high tech devices to mess up. Then it decided to rain buckets all afternoon. I know my little munchkin is small but after carrying her all the way around Bridgestreet my arm felt like it would fall off. Note to self....don't forget a stroller next time, and if she refuses....MAKE HER. Really who actually can shop with a almost 3 year old. If it wasn't her wanting a cookie, drink, popcorn she was needing to go to the bathroom at the most unreasonable times. I know her little system doesn't' care if I just sat down with our food in an O'so crowded Target. So after the many start and stops I managed to get a few errands done. Then it was a rush back to Scottsboro to go to a birthday party. We had a fun night....even though I was SO tired.

We had company over last night for the Super Bowl after church. I couldn't even tell you what teams played :) We had a house full and a lot going on.

Camera withdrawals

Ok, so I have my regular digital camera, but I have really come to rely on the old trusty phone camera. Its SO convenient and easy to deal with. Until the Iphone that is!!!!!!! I got a new Iphone for my birthday just a short two weeks ago. I went to take a picture last week and the phone is NOT working. I am not happy about it all. I took it to our local verizon store and they were of no help. I am going to take it to Huntsville this weekend hopefully. I sure hope they can fix it or give me a new phone. Its very annoying to have a phone in my hands that is SO capable of amazing things but can't take a simple picture. I missed some really good pictures the last few days. Thats how it goes right? This past weekend Ava went to an indoor swimming party. She had SO much fun. She freaked out when we had to leave. It just validated my feelings that this summer its time for her to take swimming lessons. She loves the water and I a so glad. I grew up swimming all the time. Mom put us in swimming lessons early and I am SO thankful for that. It developed my love for the water and the sport (if you call it that). Hey its great exercise so therefore I call it a sport.
